SOAR'S Memorial: Below are our unfortunate friends that we tried to our fullest to help but unfortunately wasn't enough or to late.

Larry has passed on us.  We believe it was distemper eating away at the poor guy.  He made a huge recover in two days then all of the sudden crashed on us.  He will be remembered RIP 2-11-2008. 

New Opossum Larry has been added to the family:  Larry was brought to us by the local animal control officer.  He was found caught in a garbage compost of a local resident.  Upon initial examination we found he was very very dehydrated and disorientated.  At first we believed the poor guy could have distemper but upon further evaluation we believe it is not true.  Please check back frequently pictures will be added soon.

This is Bill a Short-Eared Owl:  Bill was brought to us by a county resident and unintentionally hit while driving.  Poor guy had 2 broken legs so we splinted and treated.  Unfortunately Bill had massive internal trauma and didn't make it through the night.  He was such a beautiful Owl.
